Which error-correction level?
The level (L/M/Q/H) sets how much damage a code can take and still scan. Higher levels recover more but make a denser pattern that needs sharper printing. M is fine for most URLs; choose Q or H for labels, packaging or outdoor posters that may wear.
About FPS (轉數快) payment codes
A common question is whether this generates FPS payment QR codes. FPS merchant codes follow the EMVCo specification adopted by the HKMA (payee details, amount and a checksum), which differs from a plain text QR. For now this tool produces generic text/URL codes; for a live payment code, use your bank's or the official FPS app so the amount and account details are correct.

Can it make an FPS (轉數快) payment QR?
Currently the tool produces generic text/URL QR codes. FPS payment codes must follow the HKMA's EMVCo merchant-code specification, which we may add later. For a live payment code, use your bank's or the official FPS app.
